1988 The World Walk Co. Ltd. was officially established and its focus was to development surface-mount type LED. Unfortunately due to financial difficulties, it had to sell off the technology to other companies.
1990~2000 World Walk started to develop and produce variable resistor.
2001 ~2010 With the development of RJ09 series for joystick, variable resistor with push-and-pull switch and encoder with switch. World Walk products are now been used on precision test equipment.
2007 The surface-mount type Slide Potentiometer (without terminal pin) was developed with sliding distance of 5mm and 10mm. (Patent No.:ZL 2007 2 0305335.X)
2008 World Walk became involved in the development of automotive instrument. It was commissioned to design and develop backlit panel with light casts outward from the center and a backlit pointer. (Patent No.:ZL 2007 2 0309586.5)
2011 a) Acquired order of 100 sets of gauge (with sensor) from excavator and forklift truck manufacturers for a trial production.
b) Successfully developed a series of potentiometer with 6 AMP switch.
c) Developed a dedicated Battery Fuel Gauge with sensor.
2012 Developed specialized RS16 Band Switch for milling and lathe machine.
2013 a) Developed specialized potentiometer for the use of electric guitar footswitch.
b) Developed slide potentiometer (without casing) which is only 3.0mm in height.
c) Develop metal casing slide potentiometer used for volume control in high quality headphone, where the circuitry acts as ground isolator and jumper.
2014 a) Developed a series of Close Type Potentiometer with switch.
b) Developed metal casing slide potentiometer with 60mm stroke distance and 2.1mm in height.
c) Developed 8 position Rotary Switch with variable resistor for coffee machine or blender (roughly 138°).
2015 a) Improved design on S-RP16 to increase its working angle to 230°(SW=50°/VR=180°)
b) Modified design of RP16 to a 3 or 5-stage switch with 180° working
c) Modified RA24T4RW-2T design to a double taper model.
d) Developed RG10DH-B1K (residual resistance less than 1Ω).
2016 a) Developed surface-mount metal casing slide potentiometer with 35mm stroke distance.
b) Developed Rotary Potentiometer with Push-Pull Switch, with switch power rating 1A/125VAC.
